These terms apply to your use of botgap.dev, including the console, the chat pages and widget, and connected channels such as Telegram (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Apps Vietutd, an independent developer based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
botgap lets you create AI assistants ("bots") that answer your visitors' questions using a knowledge base you provide. Bots answer from your knowledge base first and use AI (currently Google Gemini) when needed. You can share a chat link, embed a widget on your website, or connect a Telegram bot.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country.
- Creating multiple accounts to get more free usage or repeat the free trial is not allowed.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- We offer a Free plan and paid plans. Current prices and limits are shown on the Billing page.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions in USD, billed through PayPal, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Each plan has usage limits (for example bots, knowledge base entries, AI messages per month and AI imports per day). When the monthly AI message limit is reached, your bots keep answering from your knowledge base only, until the next month or until you upgrade.
- You can cancel at any time. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices or plan limits. We will tell you in advance, and changes to your price apply from your next billing period.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights to the content you add, such as questions, answers, bot settings and files or web pages you import ("Your Content").
- You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content only to run the Service for you, including sending it to our AI and hosting providers.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to use it. Only import websites and documents you own or are allowed to use.
- You are responsible for informing your own visitors about how their chat messages are handled, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI answers
AI can make mistakes. Answers created or rewritten by AI, and FAQ drafts generated from your sources, may be incomplete or wrong. Review your knowledge base and test your bot. Do not use the Service as the only source for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, or for emergencies. You are responsible for the answers your bot gives to your customers.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- send spam, run scams or phishing, or impersonate others;
- publish hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent content, or content that exploits minors;
- upload malware, probe or attack our systems, or try to bypass limits or security measures;
- overload the Service, scrape it, or resell it without our written permission.
We may suspend or remove bots or accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why where reasonable.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Google (AI and sign-in), PayPal (payments), Cloudflare and Hetzner (hosting), and, if you connect them, Telegram and Discord. Their own terms also apply to your use of those services.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without guarantees of uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your knowledge base.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, email us. We may terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
